Ahmed H. Zewail Fellowship is offered to Chemistry students at the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering. This fellowship is created from a generous donation received from Syed Babar Ali on his 90th birthday to bolster students’ interest in fundamental sciences. It is named after the distinguished Professor Dr Ahmed H. Zewail who was an Egyptian Nobel Laureate, celebrated for his ground-breaking work in femto-chemistry. He is regarded as the founder of the field.
