Peer Support System
Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering and the Office of Academic Advising are committed to providing continuous support to its student population. The SBASSE Peer Support System is playing a vital role in providing that support to the freshmen.
The Program was initiated in 2020 to support incoming first year students in the online setting about non-academic concerns. Upon the successful pilot run, we have decided that the program will be offered every year to assist our freshmen in non-academic issues. Peer mentors, who are junior and senior students, guide freshmen about the available resources of the university, help them get accustomed to the LUMS and SBASSE environment and be accessible for students if they face any non-academic issues. They are the buddies out there to help!
The program is offered once a year and the designated Peer will remain assigned to his/her group for round the year. If you are interested in becoming a Peer, please submit your application using the form.
