We are beyond excited to announce the release of the latest, most inspired edition of our School’s flagship science magazine – The Particle 19!

Capturing the marriage of technology and snowy peaks is our cover story – a detailed look into the work of the Center for Water Informatics and Technology (WIT), where a team of researchers plod through snowy Swat valley to measure packed snow, which eventually melts and feeds our rivers, and the entire agrarian landscape of the country. The emanation of exemplary interdisciplinary work at SBASSE is reflected in the award-winning study of Dr. Murtaza Taj and Dr. Nadhra Shahbaz, where they attempt to fuse cutting-edge technology with art history in order to preserve our past.

This edition also features a billet-doux in Urdu, to two celebrated space emissaries: Voyager and the James Webb Space Telescope.

Issue 19 has been embellished with articles that not only feature our faculty, but also students and staff; witness for the very first time how SBASSE’s waste management laboratory works, and the amazing people responsible for keeping our laboratories safe. Moreover, we have completely redesigned our contents page, and added interesting one-liners describing members of our team.
