Abstract
There has been an enormous increase in the computational investigation of multidisciplinary problems. The computational software dealings with such problems require a strong mathematical foundation. Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) is the area of engineering that deals with the numerical simulation and analysis of fluid flow interacting in the solids. The major disciplines that lie within FSI are bioengineering, mechanical, automobile, aeronautical, civil, environmental, and so on. We have a very robust technique that addresses a wide range of applications in various industry sectors. There is an immense need to understand and apply the techniques to solve a variety of design, analysis, and optimization problems. This workshop series on the basics of the FEATFLOW Multiphysics tool will be a door to numerous opportunities for students.
Outcomes
- Mathematical Modeling
- Introduction to Latest Trends and Simulation Environment on HPC Cluster
- Hands-on Material to Execute the Project
- Introduction of Meshing, Visualisation Softwares (Grid3, GMV, ParaView).
The potential audience for this workshop is junior/senior majors following degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering as well as graduate students.
FEATFLOW is designed for the following three classes of applications:
- Education of students
- Scientific research
- Industrial applications
