We are celebrating the conferment of tenure to Associate Professors Dr. Shaper Mirza in Life Sciences and Dr. Imran Anwar in Mathematics

Dr Shaper Mirza: Dr. Shaper Mirza's remarkable journey, marked by outstanding research in disease surveillance, diabetes-II, and antimicrobial resistance, showcases a deep-rooted dedication to public health. Her collaborations with the health sector, grant successes, and exceptional teaching acumen position her as a remarkable asset for Life Sciences, Science and Engineering and LUMS.  She is our strongest proponent for industrial liaison.

Dr Imran Anwar: Dr. Imran Anwar, of Math Circles fame, is a notable mathematician and in my opinion has revitalized the Mathematics Department at LUMS, aligning it with the mission of an inclusive, forthcoming, spirited and regionally recognizable centre of learning and research. He has sharpened the teaching and enhanced the prestige of maths in the University and beyond. An exemplar!
