Dr. Reza Abdolmaleki, from Iran has joined our departments of Mathematics as Assistant Professor. 

Dr Abdolmaleki was born in Ghorveh in the Kurdistan province of Iran. He graduated with a Ph.D. in mathematics from Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjan, Iran (2020). In the frame of his Ph.D. education, he visited the Department of Mathematics of Universität Duisburg-Essen, Essen, Germany for 14 months (May 2019- July 2020). This research opportunity was supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. After graduation, for 3 years, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at IASBS Zanjan, and also a non-resident researcher at IPM, Tehran, Iran.  

His area of research is Commutative Algebra with a focus on the combinatorial aspects of the theory. He has taught various mathematics courses at several universities in Iran. And enjoys relishing the beauty of mathematics.
