Abstract
Quantum internet combines the powers of quantum networking with quantum computing, promising to have enormous power over classical internet. Starting from the basic quantum principles, I will explore the path leading to the quantum internet, including our little contribution to the field.
Dr. Aeysha Khalique is an Associate Professor at Department of Physics, in School of Natural Sciences, NUST Islamabad. Dr. Khalique have a PhD in Physics from Technische Universitat Darmstadt, Germany in 2008 and since then she is working in NUST. She have been working in quantum communication since two decades and started working in quantum computation for a few years, including guiding research students in these areas at all undergraduate and graduate levels. She have several current national and international collaborations and publications in reputable journals.
