Abstract:

A zero-dimensional perovskite of five types is fabricated using different alkyls i.e. Methylammonium iodide (MAI), Butylammonium iodide (BAI), n – Octylammonium iodide (nOAI), 4 – Fluoro – Phenethylammonium Iodide (4FPEAI), and Phenethylammonium iodide (PEAI) through depositing thin layers stacking over each other of different solutions processed BiI3/CH3NH3I, C4H12IN, C8H20NI, C8H11FIN and C8H12IN over compact titanium dioxide (TiO2) coated glass substrates. During the fabrication of these lead-free perovskites, I have used Bismuth Iodide (BiI3) in place of Lead Iodide (PbI2). After deposition of such perovskites on TiO2 coated glass substrates separately, the optoelectronic properties of these various perovskites are analyzed using different techniques like UV- Vis spectroscopy, XRD, PL spectroscopy. etc. Finally, the optoelectronic properties of these perovskites are studied comparatively.
