Medical Enrichment Program - First Cohort 2024

May 28, 2024 — The Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) celebrated the completion of its inaugural Medical Enrichment Program. The first cohort of students, including Ali Asim, Zuha Bilal, Aalian Ubaid, and Muhammad Anas, received their certificates and transcripts, marking the successful conclusion of this one-year intensive program designed to enhance medical education, which ran from Spring 2023 to Fall 2023.

The ceremony was graced by the Dean of SBASSE, Dr. Walther, and the Principal of Shalamar Medical and Dental College (SMDC), Prof. M. Zahid, who jointly presented the certificates to the participants. The event was attended by officials from both institutions, reflecting the collaborative spirit and shared commitment to advancing medical education.

Dr. Muhammad Tariq highlighted the benefits students must have gained from the program over the past year and explored potential pathways for its future development. A comprehensive feedback session was also conducted, where students shared their experiences and provided valuable insights.
