Mission of Electrical Engineering Department

The mission of the EE program is stated as follows:

  1. To produce graduates having attributes essential for a leader in industry and academic institutions such as independence of thought, environmental and social responsibility, a professional and ethical outlook and a strong inter-disciplinary foundation built on fundamental scientific principles.
  2. To achieve excellence in cutting-edge research by winning competitive grants and awards, knowledge creation and its dissemination at globally recognized forums, and generation of intellectual property.
  3. To have a positive societal impact by translating engineering knowledge into solutions for locally relevant problems, and enabling entrepreneurship initiatives with a global footprint.
