Muhammad Kamran, an MS Chemistry graduate of the class 2018, has accepted an Assistant Product Manager Position at the Frontier Dextrose Limited (FDL), a sister concern of the Comfort Group of Companies. The Company serves the medical community of Pakistan by manufacturing medicinal grade polypropylene bottles for intravenously (IV) injectable fluids.
The main responsibility of Kamran is on improving the market of current products and introducing new items for the pharmaceutical market. Kamran has been trained as a synthetic organic chemist in the Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry (BMC) group at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Saeed, Associate Professor and participated in the project of discovering new drugs for the treatment of viral infections.
